About this Poll
President Obama leads presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney 50 percent to 36 percent in the poll of 797 Garden State voters. Fifty-percent of voters also approve of Obama’s performance, while 42 percent disapprove.

The poll was conducted from Aril 30 to May 6 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
