Poll Demographics

The poll found Beshear with the lead among virtually every demographic group and had majorities, not just pluralities, among almost all of them.

Beshear has nearly a 2-1 advantage in Jefferson County, as well as the support of more than half of all respondents in every region and every congressional district in the state.

About this Poll

The poll, conducted by telephone Oct. 26-29, surveyed 710 likely voters who were randomly selected. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.73 percentage points.
