Pennsylvania's ballot's having the home county of the candidate is probably a big reason given he's from Erie County compared to the winner who was from Alleghany.
This is it. It's very simple. In races that people don't know much about and that there's too many candidates, like this one and AG, it basically comes down to regional affinity. There was too much going in SEPA candidate-wise, and Eugene was the only candidate outside SEPA/from the West. In this one, Erin was the candidate from the West, while Bizzarro only had Erie, which doesn't have a big base to carry him. At that point, people probably just go with Erin b/c they're either from the West, or bc she comes from a bigger area.
