This election was conducted using a form of Ranked Choice/Instant Runoff voting. This was used only for the election for US Senator; all other state elections were First-Past-the-Post. Voters were able to pick a first and second choice for United States Senator. No candidate received a majority of first choice votes and therefore the second choice votes were added to give the final results shown here. For the initial results including only the first choice votes for all candidates, see 1914 Open Primary for Senator. The 1915 Blue Book does not make any mention of this and the results it gives are the first choice votes only.
