About this Poll
Interviews were conducted January 5-8, 2020 among a random sample of 1,505 Nevada voters contacted on landlines (367) and cellphones (1138). Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of ±2.5 percentage points. Results for the 635 Democratic caucus voters subsample have a margin of sampling error of ±4 percentage points. Interviews were conducted by bilingual interviewers. Respondents were given the option of completing the interview in English or Spanish. Telephone numbers were randomly selected from a statewide voter file of registered Nevada voters using a probability proportionate to size method, which means phone numbers are proportionally representative to the number of voters in all regions across the state. The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Beacon Research (D) (formerly known as Anderson Robbins Research) and Shaw & Company Research (R).
